Principal Accountabilities :
Safely and efficiently operate equipment at site, including but not limited to bagging machines, operating salt conveying equipment, operation of packaging and related equipment.
Safely operate heavy machinery used to move or lift products, equipment, or materials within and around plant, including but not limited to front-end loaders, railcar mover, and forklifts.
Operate computers to check work orders / schedule, print shipping paperwork and labels.

Comply with corporate policies and procedures related to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Feed Safety risks associated with products
Support a culture of zero fatality, injury and illness.
Understand and proactively avoid environmental impact and potential risk to the businesses.
Perform general tasks around plant with minimal supervision.

Requirements :
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal / written)
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Basic use of a computer and typing skills
Must be able to work in elevated areas
Preferred Qualifications :
At least 1 year experience operating heavy equipment such as Front end loader or wheel loader
Driver’s License
Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Working knowledge of inventory systems
Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial equipment (ex., packaging machinery, etc.)
