Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture operates videotape machines, disk-based file servers, camera control units, studio cameras, video switchers, audio mixers and other equipment used in the broadcast of live and taped television programming. May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Some bending, lifting, and twisting of body required. Ability to lift / carry 50 lbs.
Visual and audio acuity including ability to read computer screens and written documents. Ability to use the telephone and two-way radio;
and speak clearly and distinctly.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employees in this position are required to work in indoor and outdoor environments flexible working environment conductive to changing temperatures and working locations (office, vehicle, outside);
and come into direct contact with ABSS staff, students and the public.
