May be expected to maintain a variety of program/transmitter logs. Being a Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture may require an associate's degree or its equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Camera Operator, Television and Motion Picture relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. SUPERIOR MOTION CONTROLS, INC. is a small business that has been manufacturing complex components that are assembled and used in military platforms for over 30 years. The company has a 25,000 square foot facility located in Farmingdale, New York where they have capabilities in CNC milling, CNC turning, gear cutting, testing, and inspection. We also have an engineering team that designs controllers and actuators for DOD platforms in sea, land, air, and space.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Farmingdale, NY for a First Class Mechanical Assembler at Superior Motion Controls. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling and testing components used in military platforms. The Mechanical Assembler will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, using hand and power tools, and maintaining quality standards. Experience following assembly procedures and using precision inspection equipment to assemble various mechanical components and complex assemblies.
