O.S.T. certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Campus Police Supervisor manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. The Village of New London is 2.5 square miles with a population of approx. 2,500 residents. It is located in Southeastern Huron County. Rank consists of Chief, two Sergeants and Officers. The department operates with 4 cruisers and top of the line equipment. The 2023 year yielded nearly 3,000 calls with that number expected to increase. Currently all positions are for part-time officer. All officers are commissioned through the state of Ohio. All newly hired officers will be required to complete an FTO period before being released to work alone .
