Our work environment includes:

- Both indoor and outdoor environments which may involve a variety of extreme weather conditions, often confined to a patrol vehicle. Subject to life threatening conditions and situations associated with law enforcement activities.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Patrol Officer. As a Patrol Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our community. This is an opportunity to contribute to a positive and secure environment.

Duties:

- Conduct regular patrols of the city of Redfield to deter and detect any suspicious activity.

- Monitor traffic and enforce state and local laws, ie: Traffic stops.

- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary

- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies when necessary to resolve incidents or investigate crimes.

- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities

- Complete a 13 Week basic police academy (for non-certified applicants)

Skills:

- Strong observation skills with the ability to quickly identify potential risks or threats

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage conflict situations

Pay: From $37,000.00 per year
