Campus Police Supervisor jobs in Wichita, KS

Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Police Officers. As a Police Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining law and order, protecting the community, and ensuring public safety through our three core values: Dignity, Honor and Respect. Duties:
- Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public order and safety
- Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and respond to emergency situations
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests when necessary
- Respond to calls for assistance, including accidents, domestic disputes, and disturbances
- Write detailed reports documenting incidents, investigations, and actions taken
- Provide assistance and support to victims of crime or accidents
- Conduct traffic stops and issue citations for traffic violations
- Serve warrants and subpoenas as required
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies on joint operations or investigations
- Conduct community outreach programs to educate the public on crime prevention

Experience:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a police academy training program
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound judgments in stressful situations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict management skills
- First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, techniques, and best practices
- Associates degree is a plus but not required
- Military experience is a plus
