Responsible to provide Recreational therapy to clients in a 1:1 or group setting in accordance with the individual’s ISP.
1. Provide direct recreational therapy services in a small group or individual setting to enhance client’s daily activities. Recreational therapy services will address the physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs of individuals.
2. Use the recreational therapy process as described in the Certification Standards distributed by The National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) to provide adequate services.
3. Comply with the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC), American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA) Code of Ethics, Standards of Practice, Division of Disabilities and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) Waiver Manual, as well as the Hillcroft Employee Handbook.
