Do you have the enthusiasm of a cheerleader combined with the organizational skills of a summer camp director? We are looking for a fun, yet disciplined, person to fill the opening for a Recreation Director at WEL-Life our Assisted Living Facility in Ogallala, Nebraska.

As our Recreation Director, you will develop and lead engaging group activities to promote resident involvement, provide sensory stimulation and reality orientation.

You will have the opportunity to build personal relationships with a diverse resident population. Those relationships will enable you to effectively document resident responses and progress to activities and monitor for conditions interfering with the safety and well-being of residents.

This is a full-time position working primarily day shift 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. You may occasionally work on a weekend or evening depending on the activity schedule.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Leadership experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to develop an engaging program
