    Extended Education Ventures (EEV) () is a self-supporting unit within The University of Texas at Austin that enables the development, delivery, and promotion of continuing and professional education across the university.

    This position is eligible for a hybrid Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) (on-campus and remote work). FWA arrangements are subject to manager approval and may shift due to changes in business needs.

    Purpose

    Lead the Extended Education Ventures (EEV) Campus Initiatives team, overseeing the management of projects and relationships with campus clients. Reporting to the Director of Course Programming, this position is responsible for the development and execution of EEV service agreements that support the development, promotion, and/or delivery of continuing and professional education programs. These programs include both academic offerings for nontraditional students and non-credit microcredentials. Primary functions include relationship development, strategic and operational guidance, pro forma business planning, and overall account management. Success in this role requires deep understanding of the continuing and professional education market, outstanding communication skills, creative problem solving, sound financial acumen, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects with a wide variety of stakeholders.

    Responsibilities
    • Make regular and independent contact with faculty and academic leadership across campus to promote awareness of EEV services and review opportunities. Maintain awareness of the continuing and professional education landscape and related support service solutions, and use knowledge to drive the development of favorable in-house solutions.

    • Lead the team responsible for developing and coordinating the implementation of EEV service solutions for campus clients. As designated, serve as the primary point of contact to CSU program managers and academic leaders. Oversee initial intake and discovery. Use experience and expertise to provide guidance and advice on program design, business models, and operational plans. Develop MOUs, project plans, and workflows to achieve identified goals and objectives. Prepare high-quality proposals appropriate for sharing with academic leadership.

    • Work closely with marketing, enrollment and student services, business services, and technical teams within EEV to gather inputs, provide information, and coordinate efforts. Ensure communication and alignment throughout engagements, such that client goals and expectations are met or exceeded, and that internal needs are addressed in a smooth and coordinated manner. Ensure that programs and solutions developed align with university policy and meet quality standards. Monitor financials and project invoicing.

    • Supervise and provide expertise to a small team of project/program managers and instructional designers. Make independent decisions about resources, work queues, and priorities. Provide guidance on planning and implementation decisions and intervene when things get off track. Organize and regularly communicate out project progress, using project management software to track tasks and issues. Ensure documentation is up-to-date in a centralized location. Ensure staff are supported and engaged.

    • Alert Director to issues, trends, and concerns. Review progress and metrics on an ongoing basis. Participate in ideating solutions to address new challenges and meet EEV objectives. Prepare reports and financial projections, as requested

    • Identify and assess new program opportunities, using relevant market research tools and methods. Analyze data and prepare high-quality reports appropriate for sharing with academic leadership.

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. At least two years of supervisory experience. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Strong project management skills and experience. Evidence of sound financial acumen. An appreciation for the purpose and mission of continuing and professional education.     Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master's degree. Experience in higher education administration and/or continuing and professional education. Experience in one or more of the following areas: program development, program management, instructional design, account management, proposal development, sales. An understanding of the continuing and professional education landscape at UT Austin.

    Salary Range

    $74,000 depending on qualifications
