Campus Recreation Director manages operations of all non-varsity and club (intramural) sports program. Monitors funds and scheduling and oversees recreation facilities. Recreation Assistant Therapy Campus Residential

    Position Summary:
    Assist with leisure and recreational opportunities for residential school students. Work with recreation therapist to implement meaningful, fun and educational activities and field trips. Also provide direct care services as scheduled. Must work flexible hours, drive agency vehicles, and implement service plans.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Implement recreational opportunities for students under direction of Recreation Therapist.
    • Provide evidence of activities and feedback to parents and/or Springbrook such as photos, art samples, etc.
    • Provide programmatic and staffing support to students in a variety of settings. Implement service plans including but not limited to IPOP, Mealtime plan, Behavior plan.
    • Earn/Maintain specialty trainings at Springbrook to safely support student equal access to leisure opportunities (such as Epi-Pen, VNS, SCIP-R, etc.)
    • Set up special activities in accordance with school themes, holidays, events.
    • Serve as a DSP when necessary.
    • All other duties assigned.
    Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge Requirements:
    • High School Diploma Required. Some College Credits or Associates Degree Preferred.
    • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
    • Must be able to lift 50lbs independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50lbs.
    • Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as required.
    • Be able to perform all physical interventions.
