Position Purpose:
The Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting; screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This position must have considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a basic understanding of company’s organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
Primary Duties:
• Manages the recruitment cycle from sourcing to on-boarding for all positions. Responsible for full-cycle recruitment to include sourcing, selection and hiring activities. Verifies credentials and coordinates other required screenings.
• Achieve success through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources, as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.
• Coordinates recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel (excluding managerial levels and above); and helps to coordinate the use of temporary employees
• Partner with managers to ensure adequate staffing levels and anticipate future needs.
• Develop and execute recruiting plans, network, perform job analysis to develop and/or update job descriptions, and develop and maintain data and reports.
• Develop new and strengthen existing community partnership to recruit the top talent in each operational region.
• Responsible for coordinating candidate interviews, pre-employment screenings, background check screenings, onboarding and new hire orientation for candidates
• Open and close opportunities utilizing the Recruiting module to seek approvals and posting authorizations
• Coordinates with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting process for position(s)
• Acts as liason with area employment agencies and advertising agencies
• Utilize appropriate advertising/marketing tools to garner interest in positions responsible for recruiting
• Review applications and monitor interview process
• Participate in interview panels to ensure compliance with interviewing and selection policy; make recommendations on ideal candidates based on experience, skill set and best fit for the organization
• Extends verbal and written contingent job offers
• Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by government agencies
• Maintains presence at area schools and job fairs to increase candidate pool and VersAbility presence in the community
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations related to human resources
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related field preferred. Will consider previous extensive full cycle recruiting experience in lieu of education or a combination of the two.
Experience: minimum of 2 years prior full cycle recruiting experience preferred using social media tools like LinkedIn for advertising
