Position Summary
Responsible for recruiting, screening and in processing of the craft employee. Proficient in the requisition tracking programs and employee data programs.
Has a broad knowledge and understanding of industrial relations including ability to function as the Industrial Relations (IR) Representative on a smaller-sized construction or maintenance project.
Prior experience in handling craft terminations, recruiting activities, employee dispute resolution and exposure to community relations activity.
Participates in delivery of craft new hire orientation. Monitors existing IR programs to ensure desired objectives and / or results are being achieved.
Provides advice and counsel to management on IR policies.
