Campus Security Director directs and implements security and safety policies and procedures on campus. Manages the work activities of campus police and patrol units. Being a Campus Security Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Campus Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Campus Security Officer is responsible for providing safety and security services to their assigned Campus/location. Their primary function will be to ensure compliance with client access control policy and ensure the safety and security of Campus occupants and operations. This position produces required and requested reports as needed.
