Campus Security Director jobs in Racine, WI

General Description:

To ensure the safety and security of people in the building, as well as keeping the building safe and secure. He/she will report directly to the Dean of Students.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Ability to communicate in writing and orally
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently
• Ability to exercise tact, good judgment, and initiative in dealing with students, faculty, and the public
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• No physical limitations
• Ability to identify sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
• Spanish speaking preferred

Responsibilities:

• Implements school safety and security activities
• Assist with the monitoring of student movement and behavior throughout the school day
• Team with appropriate school personnel about student behavior and behavior-related issues
• Assist with the control of disruptive students
• Escort and assist students to assigned areas
• Ensure that school policies and procedures are followed
• Work with first responders in regard to security and safety
• All other duties as assigned

Salary: $18.00/hr; Monday through Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm
