Site Background:

We are seeking to hire a qualified Unarmed Security Officer for a School Campus. Applicants must enjoy the responsibility of providing security, safety and excellent customer service for students, parents, administrators and visitors alike at our client's campus. Unarmed Security Officers are expected to physically patrol the premises throughout their shift.

Security Agent Duties and Responsibilities May Include:

• Monitoring and Supervising to ensure safety and perimeter security addressing unwanted persons on campus
• Responds appropriately to campus emergencies, incidents and requests by school employees, administrators, parents and other visitors
• Conduct incident investigations
• Work closely with the campus staff and faculty to provide guest safety and security support
• Work in tandem with front office that visitors are greeted on the outward perimeter, directed to front office when checking-in and exiting during the school day
• Write and maintain an activity log, submitting daily reports, performing locks and unlocks, and responding to incidents
• Conduct regular foot patrols, providing deterrence to suspicious activity
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of shift on various surfaces (concrete, carpet, etc.)
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times
• Adhere to company standards while interacting with the public, clients, and emergency responders
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small group to resolve urgent issues
• Process-oriented with high attention to detail, and triage a problem quickly providing precise/clear information while working under minimum supervision.

Qualifications:

• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Excellent interpersonal and written skills; bilingual is a plus
• Unarmed presence at all times
• Maintain a professional and appropriate appearance; well-groomed with no visible tattoos or piercings
• Ability to maintain professionalism and appropriate demeanor when working with adolescents
• Must be willing and able to do considerable walking in order to make required rounds on campus (5-8 miles per shift)
• Stamina and ability to work in inclement weather

Requirements:

• Be a minimum of 21 years of age
• 1 year of school campus Security experience required
• Must be able to provide at least 3 professional references
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Current BSIS Guard Card License
• Reliable form of transportation to campus location
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
• Must complete all school compliance training and requirements
