Campus Security Director directs and implements security and safety policies and procedures on campus. Manages the work activities of campus police and patrol units. Being a Campus Security Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a senior institutional officer. The Campus Security Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The Campus Security Officer maintains a safe and secure environment for staff, students, and congregants. In addition, maintains current security officer state licenses and all current mandated state training. The ideal candidate will be a minister of the Gospel by praying for and showing the love of Christ to all those they encounter. They will also minister and serve within the practical aspect of this position. They will be an example and will have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.
