Campus Security Director jobs in Springfield, OH

Cedarville University is seeking to hire a full-time Security Officer to provide for the safety and security of all persons residing and working at Cedarville University. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Campus Security. Days/hours for this position are: Monday-Friday 4 pm to 12 am

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicants must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's doctrinal statement, community covenant, and general workplace standards.
• 1 to 2 years of college education in Criminal Justice or related field of study; or the equivalent in job experience and specialized training in police, security, fire, safety or emergency medical services. Other relevant experience may be equated with the above as determined by the Director.
• CPR/AED Certification
• Valid driver’s license any state. Good driving record.
• Ohio Police Training Commission private security firearms certification (Preferred) Will provide training if needed.
• Ability to utilize computer software programs to access information and complete incident reports.
