Immediate Security Officer Positions Available in Trenton, New Jersey Area.

Looking for serious individuals who are committed to public safety.

Must have Valid SORA License.

Must have reliable transportation & contact number.

Multiple shifts available: Days (Monday, Through Saturday )

During the week Shifts Vary Start time 8:30 AM End Time 4:30 PM And Saturdays 830am to 1pm

All these shifts require the officer to stay on site the entire time.

Must be flexible as shifts are subject to change.

· Must have Reliable Transportation

· Ability to prepare neat & legible written daily reports and or incident reports

· Remain flexible to ever changing environments; adapt well to different situations

· Ability to maintain satisfactory attendance and punctuality standard;

· Neat and professional appearance

· Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

· Read, understand and clearly speak English; constantly use speech and hearing (correctable to normal level required) in communicating with public/co-workers, giving and receiving instructions, using phones

· Security Officer must be able to handle pressure of working with high volume general public (constantly to occasionally depending on assignment)

Responsibilities

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Skills

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Registered as a security officer

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 48 per week
