Cancer Treatment Center Director (Hosp. Op.) directs and oversees all activities of the hospital's cancer center. SUMMARY:
Provide assessment and treatment services. Maintain an active caseload of clients. Maintain client clinical charts in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Health standards, and other city, county, federal and CARF standards, and pursuant to payor contracts and requirements.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services) or other related field and 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent and/or dually-diagnosed clients.
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with clinical specialty in administration or the human services) or other related field and 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent and/or dually diagnosed clients
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Office setting in a behavioral healthcare facility for persons receiving treatment for alcohol and other drug addictions and/or mental illness. Facility has administrative offices and treatment space. Travel to other NET sites and outside meetings as needed.
