  • Banyan Treatment Centers is recruiting a Clinical Director to lead our clinical team in Wasilla, AK. Banyan, Alaska provides services to a primary substance use disorder population, specializing in treatment for Veterans and active-duty members.

    The Clinical Director is responsible for management of the clinical function of the facility.

    They are responsible for providing effective leadership to the clinical staff, have knowledge of the organization and function to direct all activities within accordance with standards of state regulations.

    Schedule:
    Full-time, Monday-Friday

    Location:
    On-site presence required in Wasilla, AK.

    Pay:
    $105,000-120,000; dependent on education, licensure, and experience.

    Bonus:

    Essential Functions:
    Maintains an effective clinical organizational structure.
    Delegates authority for the completion of responsibilities.
    Functions as the leader of multi-disciplinary Clinical Treatment Team/staffing meetings in the absence of the Executive Director.
    Works collaboratively with the Senior Management Team.
    Delivers direct patient services, including individual and group therapy sessions.
    Completes Bio-psychosocial, Trac9, and Discharge Summary with patients.
    Provides staff development through supervision and education.
    Facilitates communication with ancillary services.
    Facilitates case management services.
    Attends clinical and administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental sharing of information.
    Recruits and interviews new employees.
    Seeks final approval for any employee and patient issues from the Executive Director and/or CCO/Executive Clinical Director.
    Communicates policies and emergency procedures clearly and accurately to staff.
    Displays the ability to direct and supervise clinical staff and activities.
    Evaluates clinical staff based on specified performance standards.
    Evaluates patient care weekly.
    Participates in the formulation and implementation of patient treatment plans.
    Completes weekly random clinical chart audits.
    Completes QA and Compliance reports for PI.

    Coordinates daily utilization review tasks, including responding to UR thread, reviewing patient records, consulting with DON on patient LOC, and preparing factors for appropriate patient outcomes.

    Uses good clinical judgment in moving patients through treatment levels.

    Preferences:

    5 or more years of experience as a Clinician.
    Qualified Supervisor and/or registered.
    Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health.
    Working knowledge of JCAHO/CARF standards, levels of care and crisis intervention


    Qualifications:
    Active LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of AK.
    Master's degree in social work or a related human services major.
    At least 3 years of work experience in a management role.
