The Pavilion Behavioral Health is seeking a talented and dynamic Residental Treatment Center Director to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals!
The Pavilion Behavioral Health System includes a 77 bed inpatient hospital, a 33 bed residential treatment center for youth and a residential addictions treatment program. Outpatient services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services as well as The Pavilion Foundation School, a private day school serving students with learning disabilities and behavior disorders. Our dedicated and compassionate staff provides therapeutic programming that includes individual, group and family therapy. Activity and recreational therapy, psychoeducational groups and medical intervention are also provided.

Position Summary:
The Director of Residential Services has a 24 hour a day, seven day a week responsibility for the Residential Treatment Center. Oversee the Behavior Management Plan for the unit. Supervision of all milieu and case management staff. Responsible for adherence to all DCFS licensing regulations.

Education/Experience: Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work and three years' work experience with children, at least two of which were in institutional or other residential group care programs and at least an additional two years of administrative experience
Licensure/Certification: Illinois Clinical Social Work License (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) preferred.
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of case management, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice. Knowledge of theory and practice of mental health assessments. Certified to conduct IM CANS assessments. Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and trauma principles. Knowledge of Rule 384 and other DCFS licensing standards for residential care. Knowledge of Medicaid Part 132. Able to work cooperatively with other residential staff and involved community agencies. Good organization skills, as well as oral and written communication skills.
