All employees working directly with residents must meet the following qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• A paraprofessional, recovery peer, or any other staff member with direct contact must be free of problematic substance use for at least one year immediately preceding employment and must sign a statement attesting to that fact.
• Job Responsibilities*
• Monitor house, client activity, and perform household duties as assigned during shift.
• Support client program goals under the direction of the Treatment Team by monitoring behaviors during non-programming hours and documenting client behaviors in Client Communication Log.
• Monitoring resident hygiene and resident behavior as relates to health status and document in Client Communication log.
• Understand drug testing policies of Daystar Recovery center and ability to collect drug testing samples and administer alcohol breathalyzer test as directed and complete documentation.
• Assist in areas of transporting residents to and from functions/appointments as assigned by Treatment Team.
• Preform CPR and Basic First Aid as needed.
• Follow requirement of Minnesota Department of Health related to duties; food prep/cooking, detailed housekeeping and cleaning.
• Administer Medication to clients as directed in the Medication Management Policy
• Participates in yearly Staff Training as required by 245G.
• Communicate with on-call personnel as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
