What can you Expect as a Senior Professional Antineoplastic/Biotherapy Infusion Staff Nurse in UPMC Magee Womens Cancer Center, specializing in Breast and Gynecology Oncology patients?
The Antineoplastic/Biotherapy Infusion Nurse works with the Physician, Advanced practitioners and supportive services treating this patient population, administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive therapy. This includes New Patient Chemotherapy and Biotherapy teaching as well as ongoing education as needed. The infusion nurse is responsible to collaborate with the team on symptom management, and ongoing preventative education. The position is one of a team of caring and compassionate patient focused nurses, each who support our patients and families by creating a healing environment and strive to give the best patient experience.
