Position Summary:
Maȟpíya Lúta is currently accepting applications for the position of Early Learning Center
Director. This “language nest” style program will enroll 20 children between the ages of 1months–5 years old. The program is open four days a week during the hours of 7:15 am to 5:0pm

I. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Early Learning Center.
2. Ensure all licensure (state, federal, and local) requirements are met,
3. Oversee the coordination of staff development and management.
4. Ensure all student and staff files are complete and up-to-date
5. Oversee building and playground maintenance and cleaning,
6. Oversee office and environment supplies and ordering.
7. Will also participate in the Adult Language Learning program to ensure continued

personal language development
8. Will assist in day-to-day Learning Center as needed including overseeing

activities with the children, mealtime, recess, naptime, and daily learning,
ensuring all communication is in Lakota, and ensuring all children-to adult ratios
are met.

9. Other duties, as assigned.
