Accounting Clerk (PART TIME)
Astoria, Oregon
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing general office, inventory, account receivable, and various administrative projects as needed for the hotel. This is a PT position 25 hours a week position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Manages account receivable within company standards.
· Manages collection efforts within company standards.
· Provides HR support to ensure applicants and new hires are processed within company standards. Work with GM/Managers to timely process terminations to ensure last checks are produced as appropriate.
· Payroll support on paydays
· Responsible for working with GM & FOM to submit timely weekly reports to Vesta.
· Responsible for working with GM & FOM to submit timely monthly reports to Vesta.
· Responsible for submitting and coding expense reports.
· Processes credit applications within company standards.
· Process new vendors W-9 within company standards.
· Banking duties as required and within company standards.
· Daily managerial reports and booking pace reports to Vesta as required.
· Daily and timely input of data into Profitsword accounting system as required.
· Balance GM petty checking book and ensure that it’s updated and correct.
· Inventory of merchandise and F&B in the Gift Shop. Work with FOM and GM as needed to ensure correction accounting of items.
· Ordering of Gift Shop merchandise as needed – work with GM.
· Provides other support to GM as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
· One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Has advanced basic computer job skills including MS Office.
· PMS systems experience preferred but not necessary.
