Cannery Worker packages food products in various ways including freezing, canning, and preserving for future consumption. Sorts and prepares products, feeds products into processing equipment, and places or stores food products according to specifications. Being a Cannery Worker may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Cannery Worker may require 0-1 year of general work experience.
