What you will do:
We are looking to add an Inventory Planner to our team at Franklin Sports. The Inventory Planner is a key role within our Supply Chain Management Organization. The incumbent will ensure that adequate inventory is maintained in correct locations to ensure proper stock levels are aligned with the customers and the company’s needs. This candidate should have excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to create data driven analyses as necessary. The key objectives will be achieving and exceeding targeted service levels for our customers, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Global Supply Chain for a specified product group. The Planner will need to be highly analytical, understand consumer goods industry, and will need to utilize ERP and Supply Chain software systems.
The position is located at our Headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid office option and will report to the Manager of Inventory Planning.

IN MORE DETAIL, YOU WILL:
· Manage the flow of goods utilizing GAINS Supply Chain software and PO placement to factories in accordance with demand forecast, customer orders, trends, and inventory management goals.
· Work with Product Management to develop Purchase Plans that meet the needs of inventory service levels while maintaining minimal levels of inventory.
· Work with Logistics to optimize cargo consolidation, management, and flow.
· Identify critical shortages and expedite deliveries to meet customer in-stock requirements.
· Identify Inventory risks (excess) and opportunities (areas to invest in safety stock) to ensure overall financial goals are achieved. Communicate comprehensively to Manager of Inventory Planning and Sr Director of Supply Chain.
· Responsible for monthly PO placement in accordance with factory capacity constraints and quarterly submission of projections to the factories for capacity planning purposes.
· Manage the monthly buys and incoming inventory in accordance to Supply Chain KPI’s.
· Create and provide ad-hoc reporting as needed.
· Seek out efficiencies and come to the table with recommendations for process improvements.
· Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, share best practices and develop systems knowledge.
· Maintain an open mind and be adaptable to change in systems, as well as processes.
· Other duties as assigned.
WHO YOU ARE:
· Bachelor’s degree required, ideally with focus in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
· 5 years of experience in inventory/supply planning or supply chain management, ideally in the consumer goods industry.
· Knowledge of MAPICS/BI/Supply Chain software preferred.
· Valid driver’s license in good standing.
