85°C Bakery Cafe retail bakery and cafe chain that operates more than 60 locations in the United States across five states and has more than 1000 locations worldwide.  We sell bread, coffee, tea, cake, pastries, and other desserts.

As Production Management / Production Planning Supervisor on our team, you will oversee all production planning activities for products produced at our central kitchen. This position will develop a supply plan based on forecasted sales trends. You will provide leadership and strategic direction as it relates to supply planning and production scheduling.

Hourly Rate: $25.00

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
• Create, update and maintain bills of material in ERP.
• Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
• Create budget and SOP for new products.
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports
• Keep paperwork organized
• Participate in and consolidate monthly inventory counts
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff

Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Proven experience as a production planner (supervisory experience preferred)
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Mandarin-speaking a plus.

Other Skills & Abilities

• Excellent knowledge of production planning principles
• Work knowledge of ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
• Good at math and statistics
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage complex projects with time critical deadlines
• Understanding of process management, process improvement, and data driving environment
