Capacity Planning Supervisor leads a capacity planning team to plan and monitor an organization's operating limits and capacities. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to align with production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planning Supervisor identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand future plans and develop responsive capacity forecasting. Additionally, Capacity Planning Supervisor utilizes production metrics and manufacturing research to develop insights on processes or equipment and recommend improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Capacity Planning Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Capacity Planning Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. This Social Work Case Management position is involved in coordinating the Elderly and Disabled Medicaid Waiver program. This program consists of planning, arranging for, and coordinating appropriate home and community-based services which shall be provided to participants in a timely manner. The person assigned to this position maintains considerable contact with service providers, consumers of services and staff.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field with an active, clear license to practice Social Work in the State of Mississippi and two (2) years of full-time experience working in direct service to aged and disabled individuals.
Candidates with less than two (2) years of experience will require at least 90 days of orientation under the supervision of an established case manager with two (2) years of waiver experience.
