Capacity Planning Supervisor leads a capacity planning team to plan and monitor an organization's operating limits and capacities. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to align with production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planning Supervisor identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand future plans and develop responsive capacity forecasting. Additionally, Capacity Planning Supervisor utilizes production metrics and manufacturing research to develop insights on processes or equipment and recommend improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Capacity Planning Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Capacity Planning Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Summary
The Supervisor oversees the custodial and floor tech staff at a large public university. The Supervisor's role is insure all cleaning staff complete their assigned custodial duties meeting a high level of expectation, insure all university and Olympus safety standards are adhered to, and serve as the liaison between the front-line cleaning staff and Olympus management.
Responsibilities and Duties
1. Drive the highest level of cleaning services through coaching, inspection, and accountability.
2. Train new cleaning staff on proper cleaning protocols and standards with videos, pamphlets and hands-on approaches.
3. Adhere to and enforce all university and Olympus safety standards, cleaning processes and general policies.
4. Maintain proper documentation as required by the university and Olympus.
5. Resolve all customer requests in the appropriate time frame.
6. Complete and deliver reports or other administrative requests.
7. Support and mentor cleaning staff as needed maintain morale, drive and overall employee job satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Two years of janitorial supervisory experience; work in a high volume, high pressure environment preferred.
2. Working knowledge of commercial janitorial cleaning procedures including hard floor and carpet maintenance.
3. Working knowledge of common commercial janitorial equipment such as: autoscrubbers, low speed buffers, high speed buffers, vacuums, sweepers, carpet extractors and Kaivacs.
4. Communicate in English verbally and in writing.
5. Strong leadership abilities and ability to deliver results.
6. Valid Arizona Driver's License and clean driving record.
7. Ability to think creatively and problem solve.
