Capacity Planning Supervisor leads a capacity planning team to plan and monitor an organization's operating limits and capacities. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to align with production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planning Supervisor identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand future plans and develop responsive capacity forecasting. Additionally, Capacity Planning Supervisor utilizes production metrics and manufacturing research to develop insights on processes or equipment and recommend improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Capacity Planning Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Capacity Planning Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. -Coordinates with Director and Department Head on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
-Project size differentiates this position from the senior level.

Description: Manages multiple small/medium projects, coordinates all aspects of assigned projects, and estimates scope of work.
-Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small to midsize projects. Prepares strategic plans for project success.
-Responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
-Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets, and scope of work to completion and to the client's satisfaction.
-Actively manages client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments.
-Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts.
