Capacity Planning Supervisor leads a capacity planning team to plan and monitor an organization's operating limits and capacities. Forecasts and plans capacity requirements to align with production schedules, resource levels, and inventory demand. Being a Capacity Planning Supervisor identifies and troubleshoots production issues or bottlenecks that impact plant capacity. Coordinates with internal stakeholders to understand future plans and develop responsive capacity forecasting. Additionally, Capacity Planning Supervisor utilizes production metrics and manufacturing research to develop insights on processes or equipment and recommend improvements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Capacity Planning Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Capacity Planning Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Demand Forecasting: Analyzing historical data and business trends to forecast future resource demands accurately.
    • Resource Monitoring: Continuously monitoring and analyzing the utilization of resources, such as surgical slots and clinical hours.
    • Capacity Planning: Developing and implementing strategies for optimal resource allocation to meet business requirements and performance goals.
    • Performance Analysis: Evaluating system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in capacity utilization.
    • Collaboration: Working closely with data analytics teams, business stakeholders, and other relevant departments to understand requirements and align capacity planning with organizational goals.
    • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks related to capacity constraints and implementing measures to mitigate these risks.
    • Budgeting: Collaborating on budget planning by providing insights into future capacity needs and associated costs.
    • Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of capacity plans and performance metrics.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions about resource utilization and future capacity requirements.
    • Forecasting: The ability to predict future capacity needs based on historical data and business projections is crucial for proactive planning.
    • Communication: Strong communication skills are necessary to collaborate with various teams, articulate capacity plans, and align strategies with overall business goals.
    • Problem-Solving: Must be adept at identifying and resolving issues related to resource constraints, performance bottlenecks, and system inefficiencies.
    • Project Management: Coordinating upgrades, migrations, and other projects related to capacity management requires effective project management skills.
    • Vendor Management: Collaboration with hardware and software vendors to assess and select solutions that align with capacity requirements and budget constraints.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Master’s Degree preferred in Health Care or Business Administration strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 2 – 4 years’ experience preferred.
    • Background in consulting, financial analysis, strategic planning, or related areas preferred.
    • Excellent strategic, analysis, communication, planning, and organization skills.
    • Attention to detail and effective time management are critical.
    • Exceptional written and presentation skills.

     WORK ENVIRONMENT 

    • The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate as compared to a private office with light traffic and computer printers.
    • This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
    • This position is in Scottsdale, AZ or Kirkland, WA.

    COMPENSATION

    At Sono Bello, we believe that our team members are the keys to our success. The compensation range for this role is $73,000 - $91,000 Bonus, depending on experience.
