Maintains the required FAA records and documentation for certifications, crews, flight times, aircraft, and activity. Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) keeps informed about current aviation developments and regulations that impact flight operations. Coordinates pilot training and development plans to ensure all are ready for flight duty. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) uses the Safety Management System (SMS) to identify, mitigate, and manage risk in operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. - Assist with the setup of the pockets of the Ink Jet Stitcher according to the job specification
- Assist with the maintenance of the Ink Jet Stitcher
- Inspect books for quality throughout the stitching process.
- Assist with the complete process related to paperwork and forms.
- Responsible for feeding the pocket.
- Assist with make-readies (m/r) on all auxiliary equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols.
- Read and understand the job tickets, workers, orders, and all other documentation that pertains to each job.
- Interact with the Lead Ink Jet Stitcher Operator to facilitate daily schedules.
- Understands and carries out customer’s quality requirements.
- Able to meet or exceed expected goals on make-readies, speeds, waste, efficiencies, etc.
- The ability to operate all tools pertaining to equipment, wrenches, gauges tape measures, etc.
- Assist with the routine maintenance of equipment and determining when maintenance is needed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications:- Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible in fulfilling obligations.
- Must be able to troubleshoot when the machine malfunctions.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must work well with others.
- Must be flexible and open to change when needed.
- Must have the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be a proven self-starter to complete projects/work orders.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- The ability 12-hour shifts.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1-year bindery experience.
- Basic small packaging knowledge.
Physical Requirements- Prolonged periods of standing while setting up and operating equipment.
- Continuously bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
