A GRADE Property Restoration is a licensed restoration contractor that specializes in fire, water, and storm damage repairs of all sizes and types for commercial, multi-family, and residential properties.
Do you have a passion for helping people and a background in large loss estimating?
A GRADE Property Restoration is looking for an experienced Xactimate Estimator. Join our fast-paced, dynamic team as we continue to expand. The position is based in Ledgewood, NJ and will require travel throughout NJ and the tri-state area. You will be estimating and settling large loss claims up to and over $500k including residential and commercial Fire, Water, Mitigation and Reconstruction estimates. Estimator will inspect damaged property, evaluate conditions, and prepare an estimate to restore the property to pre-loss condition using Xactimate software. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Xactimate Software required.
Responsibilities will include: Establish and maintain client relationships as well as relationships with insurance adjusters and claim representatives Write and upload clear and concise estimates using Xactimate software Work with the customer to ensure they understand the process and handle all inquiries in the estimating process Work with insurance adjusters to provide updates and changes as needed Follow up with adjusters for estimate approval Create supplements and change order estimates Use 3D virtual tour equipment and software
You will need: A positive, confident, and upbeat attitude. Minimum of 5 years of experience with Xactimate Software. Minimum of 10 years of experience in residential construction. Commercial construction experience is a PLUS. Excellent computer skills Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Superb communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
