Maintains the required FAA records and documentation for certifications, crews, flight times, aircraft, and activity. Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) keeps informed about current aviation developments and regulations that impact flight operations. Coordinates pilot training and development plans to ensure all are ready for flight duty. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Large Jet) uses the Safety Management System (SMS) to identify, mitigate, and manage risk in operations. May require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. If you enjoy living working in a stunning outdoor setting then Columbia Point Resort may be for you! We are looking for an energetic couple who will take pride in contributing to all facets of our hospitality operation. Our current call for help is to find a couple who can wear many hats and is not afraid of hard work. Duties will primarily consist of grounds work, light construction and housekeeping. You may also be asked to help us with our bungalow renovations and with getting our Agri-venture garden projects started. Daily duties may include wielding a paintbrush, tearing out carpet, prepping trim or cleaning a messy chicken coop, planting seeds and raking leaves. In addition to these tasks; a workday will most likely include doing hotel laundry, cleaning guest rooms, answering phone calls or assisting guests. The right couple will need to be multifaceted and willing and able to where many different hats that change daily.

Basic physical requirements require one who can walk around the five-acre property, the hotel and RV park. When assisting with housekeeping or renovation tasks, we need someone who can carry armloads of supplies, occasionally move a heavy picnic table or a mattress. Personalities need to be upbeat and have the desire and ability to be friendly and engaging with guests. The guests are the stars of the show and it is essential you have the ability to interact with them positively and promote their best possible experience while they stay with us. The right couple will work well with others and can see the big picture of what we are all here to accomplish each day. The ability to work with a flexible job description is critical, but also know that the on-site innkeeper has your backs! We are currently in a renovation and growth phase and really need a crew who can be flexible, adaptable and self-driven. We are not after experts but having the hunger to learn and try is required.
Our resort has 14 guest rooms, a future glamping village, and 22 RV sites. There is a second property here in Kettle Falls we call Lazy Lake that includes a historic house, RV sites and a future glamping village. Work will take place at both locations. Your daily schedule will fluctuate based on the season and current project needs but generally a couple will be working 3-5 days a week especially in the peak summer season.
Applicants need to have their own self-contained RV. A couple works 4 hours each week to get a full hook-up site in the RV park, wi-fi and free laundry facilities. Wage is Washington State minimum wage of $16.28 per hour. We are currently looking for seasonal support for the high season we are ramping up to, but year-round employment is a possibility for the right candidate with a flexible skill set.
