Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Room Nurse to join our team. As a Room Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Client and Patient are transferred from the receptionist area to an available exam room. You are a line of communication between the client and the doctors. Doing this while exercising empathy, compassion, and professionalism.

Duties:

- Clean and maintain exam rooms

- Transfer clients from the lobby to an open exam room

- Taking temperatures and assisting in vaccinations

- Using the computer to track charts and enter various information

- General cleaning and restocking during downtime

- Empty trash and replace liners

- Follow all safety, and disease control policies

Experience:

- Previous experience in veterinary care is preferred

- Knowledge of veterinary terminology

- Ability to learn and use new computer software

-Using Cornerstone practice management software is a huge bonus
