Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) jobs in Evansville, IN
Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) pilots aircraft following standard operating procedures to ensure that flights operate according to all regulations, safety, and company policies. Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) may require a bachelor's degree. Requires Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate. Requires FAA Commercial Pilot's License. Typically reports to chief pilot. The Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Jet) typically requires 7+ years of related experience. In addition will be assist with maintenance of company fleet including light duty repairs, oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs etc. We are looking for someone mechanically inclined with 2 years experience in the mechanical field.

- Must wear steel toe boots or shoes.
Work Schedule
Days: Monday-Friday (occasional weekends)
Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm, (occasional overtime required)
