We are seeking a Water Jet Operator to join Heritage Design and Supply. As a Water Jet Operator you will be processing materials as per work order specifications while ensuring the maintenance of processing equipment in a safe and clean state.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Operating and preserving CNC machinery.
• Inspecting and validating products before processing.
• Reviewing drawings, instructions, or samples to guarantee precise production.
• Taking accurate measurements for cutting purposes.
• Choosing suitable machine settings for designated tasks.
• Strategizing task sequences for effective completion of assignments.
• Monitoring production, making necessary adjustments to settings.
• Managing inventory of machine parts required for operation.
• Conducting quality checks on output, documenting and addressing defects.
• Identifying and executing necessary machine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Handling material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
• Assisting in material packaging according to work orders and instructions.
• Maintaining a secure and tidy workstation.
• Collaborating within the team by fulfilling related tasks when needed.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 2 years machine operation experience
• Experience with the FLOW Water Jet Operator preferred
• Ability to read and write
• Perform basic math skills
• Use of hand held measuring tools

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Long periods of standing, walking and working on a computer.
