Determines flight routes, speed, and take off and landing times to fulfill scheduling requirements. Being a Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) must stay current with federal and local flight regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) possesses current airline transport certificate with necessary type ratings. Requires a minimum of 5,000 hours of flight experience.
