Title: Water Jet Tech


Summary of Position:

Individual must possess the physical ability and mental capability to perform the duty of operating and programming Water Jet safely and efficiently.


Duties & Responsibilities

Daily operation of Water Jet, lifting, moving, loading and unloading material
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to determine and document materials to be used for specific jobs
Be flexible to assist in other areas as needed or required by shop management
Maintain production requirements relating to quantity and quality
Responsible for flow of materials in/out of Water Jet room
Order Garnet, maintaining inventory levels
Perform maintenance of Water Jet daily/weekly/quarterly, completing checklist


Required Skills & Experience

Must possess ability to program Water Jet
Must understand 5-Axis principles
Must possess strong ability to plan/schedule/prioritize
Possess mathematical skills, with focus on fractions and decimals
Ability to read prints and spec sheets
Ability to lift and/or handle material up to 75 pounds
Possess the ability to work safely in all situations
Ability to read a tape measure in 16ths of an inch, familiar with mics, calipers, gauges
Ability to work with others
Ability to drive a lift truck a plus, though not required
