Garden Day Small School is a home-based, queer-friendly preschool in south Berkeley that operates primarily outdoors with a mixed-age (2.5 to 5 years old) class of 12 children. We are looking for an experienced teacher to join our small community.
Qualifications: Be warm, open-minded, quick-thinking, kind, and love the company of small children. Be able to lead the class with love, compassion, and flexibility. Support play based learning. Have 3 years experience in ECE. Meet the minimal state requirements for California childcare workers. Be pediatric first aid/CPR certified. Be able to lift a 30-50 lb child.
