Captain/Pilot in Command (Small Non-Jet) jobs in Saint Cloud, MN

River Outdoor Power Equipment in Richmond, Minnesota is now hiring a part time engine repair technician to service lawn and garden tractors, zero-turn mowers, UTVs (Side by Side), ATVs and 2-stroke small engines, such as chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, etc. This job has advancement opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Provides set-up and repair of lawn and garden and powersports equipment
• Diagnoses and repairs engines/equipment as needed
• Maintains current knowledge of lawn and garden equipment
• Provide warranty and scheduled maintenance service
• Accurately completes all reports and forms required for work assignments
• Accurately accounts for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties

Key Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of small engines, electrical, fuel and hydraulic systems (Kohler, Kawasaki, Briggs and Stratton, etc)
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
• Accurately follow Technical Manual procedures
• Knowledge of compact diesel engines a plus

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prefer someone with a Diploma or certificate in engine repair or similar
• At least one year or more of employment experience in engine repair, or appropriate internship perferred
