Card Room Manager manages and directs the card room daily activities. Responds to questionable activities by employees or customers and takes appropriate action to correct the situation. Being a Card Room Manager maintains integrity and security of all games, monies, and personnel. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Additionally, Card Room Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Card Room Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Millinocket Regional Hospital has an immediate opening for a full time Operating Room Manager.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Minimum of three years clinical experience in Perioperative Nursing. Knowledge of Regulatory and Professional Standards in the Perioperative Department. Must have the ability to function in all aspects of the Operating Room. Licensure in the State of Maine as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred or willing to obtain within two years of hire. BLS, ACLS, PALS required or willing to obtain within six months of hire.
Main Function: Maintain management of OR staff and scheduling. Must have good communication skills. Promote quality improvement within the department. Participates in the development and implementation of hospital policies and procedures. Understanding, maintaining, and developing a budget for the department.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Full Time Position, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
