Card Room Manager manages and directs the card room daily activities. Responds to questionable activities by employees or customers and takes appropriate action to correct the situation. Being a Card Room Manager maintains integrity and security of all games, monies, and personnel. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Additionally, Card Room Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Card Room Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. JOB SUMMARY: To provide the primary manual labor required to produce and package dry ice. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Loads and package dry ice on a daily basis in accordance with quality standards. Knows and complies with all safety and quality policies and procedures. Clean-up functions including, but not limited to, sweeping, washing, painting, trash removal and pick-up. Hazards require the use of personal protective equipment (i.e. hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes). Dry ice is extremely cold, and therefore requires that gloves be worn when directly handling dry ice. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. Able to function safely in a noisy environment with safe, but elevated, levels of CO2 vapor present in the facility. Shift work required. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Ability to compute rate, ratio, commissions, proportions, and percent’s. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Able to read and write. Able to understand and follow the direction of supervisors. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
