The Green Room is a retail cannabis store serving Whidbey Island! We are committed to supporting our community by providing a variety of high quality products for recreational consumers and medical patients at great prices.

As we have grown to become one of the top retail cannabis stores in the region, we have a need to expand our staff in order to better serve our community. We are looking for hard working professionals to join The Green Room team!

We are currently hiring for a budtending position. The Green Room strives to maintain top customer service. We expect our staff to be the example of customer service in the cannabis industry as well as be educators to our customers. This is a fast-paced environment that requires you to be able to multi-task while meeting compliance policies set in place. Individuals interested in the positions must meet the following requirements;

Intoxication of cannabis or any other substance while on the clock is prohibited by state law and is a violation of company policy.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age with valid identification
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Must have retail experience
• Cash handling experience
• Excellent customer service with positive attitude
• Ability to listen and recommend based on customer/patient needs
• Great work ethic
• Self-starter
• Dependable
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a team setting
• Must be able to work in an extremely fast paced environment
• Knowledge of basic cannabis is required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor and attitude at all times

Budtender Duties:

• ID checking
• Cash Handling
• Stocking
• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high level customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with state laws, rules and regulations
• Organizing displays
• Labeling and merchandising
• Engaging with customers
• Answering phones
• Continual education about cannabis products
• Follows and ensures team compliance with The Green Room operational policies and procedures
• All other tasks as requested by Leads and Managers

Cannabis experience preferred. All team members are hired on a 90 day probationary period.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Ability to Relocate:

• Oak Harbor, WA 98277: Relocate before starting work (Required)
