ROLE SUMMARY:

The Production Project Manager plays a key role in planning and implementing strategies and processes tied to production and design initiatives and projects. They are integral in converting ambitions and ideas into actionable steps and timelines for execution. This all-encompassing role requires a high level view of how the production department collaborates with various business functions including operations, R&D, business development, sales & process, finance, and external partners/vendors. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Ensures thought leadership is brought to scoping projects, setting SMART goals, allocating resources, and meeting deadlines
• Identify the team’s undertakings and strategically assign tasks based on bandwidth, priority, and business impact
  
• Develop and implement standards, processes, workflow, governance for long and short term projects
  
• Manage communication between external vendors and internal teams to maintain healthy project status
• In depth analysis of project health and status
  
• Leadership for direct reports
• Production scheduling
• KPI meetings, data analysis and presentation
• Financial compliance: (budget estimates, actual costs, etc.)

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in project management, production operations, manufacturing project management or comparable experience, 2 years
• Proven track record of superior project management and organizational skills; cost, risk, prioritization, and time-management skills
• PMS efficiency, Monday.com preferred 
  
• Mastery of Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel 
  
• Proven track record of developing, refining, and implementing processes and standard operational procedures, 2 years

SALARY & ADDITIONAL BENEFITS

• $60,000 - $67,000 based on experience
• Performance-based bonuses
