Card Room Manager manages and directs the card room daily activities. Responds to questionable activities by employees or customers and takes appropriate action to correct the situation. Being a Card Room Manager maintains integrity and security of all games, monies, and personnel. Ensures compliance with federal and state gaming regulations. Additionally, Card Room Manager may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Card Room Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. We are looking for an enthusiastic full-time Lead Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience at a craft beer tap room, Alewives Tap Room, within High Street Place Food Hall. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips.
Responsibilities:
- Pour drinks from taps for bar patrons
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Daily and weekly communication with ownership
- Weekend and special event coverage as needed.
Skills:
- Proven working experience as a bartender- 2 years minimum
- Computer literacy, previous Toast POS experience
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- TIPS certified required
Schedule / hours required : (End time can be discussed).
Monday 3:00pm -9:30pm (6.5 hours)
Tuesday 10:00am-5:00pm (7 hours)
Wednesday 10:00am-9:30pm (11.5 hours)
Thursday 10:00am -5:00pm (7 hours)
In person interviews on a date to be determined the week of April 29th.
