Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Manager plans and implements the overall policies, procedures, and services of the cardiac catheterization lab. Ensures efficient and effective lab operations, including quality control and compliance with regulations and policies. The Registered Cardiac Vascular Sonographer will be responsible for performing Echo cardiographer procedures as ordered by physician, under the direct supervision of the Director, Cardiopulmonary. Performs a variety of cardiac testing, but not limited to, echo cardiology, carotid imaging, venous imaging, transesophageal echo studies, stress echo, cardiac Doppler and treadmill stress testing.
Qualifications: Validation of certification(s) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Experience:* Two years of experience in a healthcare environment preferred* One year of performing trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms, Arterial, and Vascular Ultrasound preferred * One year of EKG interpretation and cardiac and vascular stress testing preferred* One year of intravenous line placement and administration of Definity is preferred Licenses/Certificates: * Current RCS or RVS certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International or RVT or RDCS from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) * BLS/CPR certification renewed by the recommended renewal date. American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date and thereafter renewed by the recommended renewal date.
