The Nurse Manager is an operational Leader that supports Nurses on respective unit(s). The Nurse Manger is a Registered Nurse that understands and supports the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Aspirus Wausau Hospital. The Nurse Manager works under the direction of a Nursing Director. This role supports bedside staff directly with majority time spent on the unit.
```Requirements```
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin or Compact State
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and medications
- Excellent patient assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in condition
- Ability to provide primary care to patients with complex medical needs
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
