Position Summary:
The Cath Lab Manager is responsible for providing quality care in the mobile and fixed cardiac cath labs and a positive interpersonal experience for the patient. The Cath Lab Manager will assist cardiologists in all aspects of invasive cardiology, including scrubbing, circulating, monitoring and recording hemodynamic parameters in accordance to policy and procedure. The Cath Lab Manager will also be responsible for the operation and reporting of quality results as required by DLPCP quality plan. Employee will supervisor staff, ensure proper supplies and equipment are maintained and other daily operations of lab within DLPCP’s policies and High Five Guiding Principles.
Travel: Daily for mobile cardiac cath labs and occasionally for fixed cardiac cath labs.
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited nursing program, radiology technology program, or certification as Registered Cardiovascular Technologist required.
Certification/License
Registered Nurse, Registered Radiology Technologist, Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist with current state licensure or RCT. Must have passed the Invasive Registry examination by Cardiac Credentialing International (CCI). Current BLS certification required. State ACLS certification required within ninety (90) days of employment.
Experience
Minimum 3 years cath lab experience required, with previous management experience preferred.
